Emma Watson se solidariza con mujeres acosadas

La actriz británica Emma Watson colaboró en la creación de una línea telefónica para las mujeres víctimas de acoso sexual en centros de trabajo en Reino Unido.

De acuerdo con la fundación Rights for Women’s, el servicio ofrecerá información a las víctimas para que sepan cómo presentar una queja ante el tribunal de empleo, acuerdos de confidencialidad, entre otros.

La línea de asesoramiento está financiada por el fondo Time’s Up UK Justice and Equality, establecido en 2018 por actores, directores y productores británicos para hablar sobre el acoso laboral en Reino Unido.

El fondo, que es administrado por Rosa UK, comenzó con una donación de un millón de libras y desde entonces ha sido financiado por aportaciones de miembros del público.

«Entender cuáles son tus derechos, cómo puedes hacerlos valer y las opciones que tienes si has experimentado acoso es una parte vital para crear lugares de trabajo seguros para todos», dijo Watson.

La actriz destacó que esa línea de asesoramiento es un enorme avance para garantizar que todas las mujeres reciban apoyo, donde sea que trabajen.
